About FlyDJI
When I started flying drones, despite doing the CAA Drone Code test, reading about the law, learning what you can and can't do, figuring out where I could and could not fly, I was always a little uneasy and nervous about flying.
Not because I was unable to handle the drones, but because of the bad press drone pilots have through the ignorance of the law around them; from both the public and the police, and the aggravation and conflict that can occur as a result of these people thinking they know best!
So I decided, whenever I had some usable, and useful flying tips and any legal information, apps and resources, I would put it together in a place I could quickly refer to at any time, so when approached by that member of the public who was out looking for a problem with me using my flying camera, or the police officer who doesn't know the drone legislation and treats you like a criminal; I'd have a reference point I could look at and point them to.
I've spent the last few years building up my knowledge on flying drones, I've completed my A2 CofC and spent time understanding legislation like the The CAA Drone Code, The Air Navigation Order 2016. I've enjoyed watching countless videos, creating free resources like the Drone Flight Information Leaflet and collating other information to help others just starting out flying their drones...
